Uniform Resource Locator also known as URL is a global address of documents and resources on the World Wide Web(www) .The first part of the URL is called a protocol identifier .This protocol identifier will indicate about what protocol should be used .The second part of the URL is called the resource name , this part will specify the IP address or the domain name according to where the resource is located . These two identifiers are seperated by a colon and two forward slashes
